Founded in 2009 as a spin off to the Center for Independent Living, the mission of the Central Florida Disability Chamber of Commerce was to provide information and resources on business creation, specifically designed for the needs of people with disabilities interested in pursuing entrepreneurial options of their own. However, after 10 years of serving Central Florida, and having graduated over 800 clients from our programs, we are even more committed to supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives that assist individuals with disabilities regardless of whether they are pursuing a new career and interested in education options, starting a new business, transitioning out of the military and civilian life, or simply seeking a career change. Regardless of the reason behind their transition, the Florida Abilities and Inclusion Network is committed to creating a more inclusive work environment through increased awareness and education in support of individuals with disabilities. Thus, our new name Florida Abilities and Inclusion Network, Inc.
